41 HOUSES CLEARED FROM CONSEQUENCES OF MUDFLOWS

As of 14:50 in the city of Cholpon-Ata and in the village of Baktuu-Dolonotuu, Issyk-Kul region, out of 60 flooded houses, 41 were cleared of the consequences of mudflows.

Currently, rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the mudflows and helping affected local residents clear their homes of mud and debris resulting from the flooding.

88 rescuers, 3 motor pumps, 20 servicemen from military unit 20636, 40 employees of the Civil Defense Services of the Issyk-Kul region and 9 units of engineering equipment are involved in the liquidation of the consequences of the mudflows.

With the help of the forces involved, power supply was restored and the courtyards of 41 residential buildings were cleared.
