ISSYK-KUL: ACTIVE WORK IS UNDERWAY TO ELIMINATE THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE MUDFLOW

Today, August 26, 307 people, 58 special equipment and 1 fire engine are involved in the liquidation of the consequences of the mudflow in the Sadyr-ake rural municipality of the Issyk-Kul region.

Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Colonel Urmatbek Shamyrkanov is on site. He is personally supervising the work to eliminate the consequences of the mudflow in a number of villages caused by mudflows in the Issyk-Kul region.

There are 253 EMERCOM rescuers, 17 engineering vehicles, as well as 54 Civil Defense Service employees and 41 units of engineering equipment working at the site.

From August 19 to 25, 110 tons of drinking water were delivered to areas affected by mudflows.

The Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance also disinfected:

- in the village of Korumdu – 6 residential buildings;

- in the village of Kashat – 4 residential buildings;

- in the village of Temir - 100 residential buildings.

A total of 110 residential buildings were disinfected.
