HEAD OF THE RUSSIAN MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS ALEXANDER KURENKOV FAMILIARIZED WITH THE ACTIVITIES OF THE "112 SERVICE"
A special delegation headed by the Minister of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Alexander Kurenkov, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan, visited the "Center for Crisis Management under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic" as part of a business trip.
They were familiarized with the activities of the Center for Crisis Management, with technical capabilities, and were given detailed information about the latest rescue equipment and fire trucks that arrived from Russia in March this year.
Emphasis was placed on drones used for operational situation management in emergency situations, as well as in rescue operations, searching for missing people or during natural disasters and in solid waste reclamation.
The guests from Russia were also shown firefighting and rescue vehicles with state-of-the-art equipment.
Further, the Russian colleagues visited the building of the "Crisis Management Center under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic" and got acquainted with the single duty dispatch service 112, which responds to calls in case of incidents in the country 24 hours a day, where the necessary emergency assistance is provided.
The guests were also demonstrated the possibilities of work, organized online video communication with the mobile control point of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic through satellite communication, surveillance with video cameras and informing the population in case of emergencies.
Assessing the capabilities of the Center for Crisis Management under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Minister Alexander Kurenkov organized a direct video link with his colleagues from Russia.
Recall that today the cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia through the Ministry of Emergency Situations was discussed by the Ministers of the two countries Boobek Azhikeev and Alexander Kurenkov.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the two countries closely cooperate in the field of improving the professional qualifications of rescuers, training and technical support.
