ERIK PROJECT - FIVE YEARS OF WORK FOR THE COUNTRY

 

Drawing a line under the events of 5 years for a new start. 

In the video you can see the results of Component 1 of the ERIK Project over 5 years. 

✅Many things have been accomplished, namely:

 67 complexes of voice notification of the population were installed,

 22 electric siren control complexes were re-equipped,

 digital television interception complex was reconfigured.

 a web portal www.ucmfs.mes.kg of the Unified System of Integrated Monitoring and Forecasting of Emergency Situations was opened; 

 mobile radios and repeaters were purchased and installed, as well as more than 160 digital hand-held radios; 

 58 new fire-fighting vehicles were purchased.

 reconfigured the software of the digital broadcasting interception complex at the Republican Television Center (Bishkek).

 300 units of GPS-trackers were purchased for special vehicles of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic;

 equipment was purchased to organize the work of the Emergency Monitoring and Forecasting Center and furniture to create conditions for 15 inter-district emergency monitoring points;

 a distance learning system (DLS) was introduced in the Center for Training and Retraining of Civil Protection Specialists under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic;

 purchased geodetic equipment for the Unified System of Integrated Monitoring and Forecasting of Emergency Situations (USICEMES);

 Flow-RProFlexible software was introduced into the work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic. This program allows using a computer to model the movement of landslides, landslides and mudflows;

 4 mobile monitoring stations for hazardous natural processes were purchased; 

 one wireless echosounder was purchased for conducting search operations at depths; 

 purchased 280 sets of overalls for firefighting units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

 Recall that under Component 1 - "Improving Preparedness and Disaster Response Systems" of the ERIK project, work is being done to strengthen preparedness and disaster response systems in Kyrgyzstan to reduce the negative impacts of natural disasters faced by the country. The project is funded by the World Bank.
