PRESIDENT TRANSFERRED TWO MOBILE HOSPITALS TO THE MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS TO PROVIDE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO VICTIMS IN THE EMERGENCY ZONE

Today, 24 September, the official transfer of the mobile hospital "MGS-40" took place in the central square of Ala-Too with the participation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.

President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov transferred two sets of mobile hospital for the needs of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, which consists of 38 special medical vehicles and other component equipment.

We note that the mobile hospitals were transferred by the Chinese side on a grant basis within the framework of agreements between the leaders of the two countries. They are designed to provide medical assistance to the injured in the zone of emergency situations.

China Sinopharm International's mobile hospital was specially designed based on SUVs. The MHS-40 mobile hospital system consists of 19 medical vehicles of various types and other component equipment. It fulfils all the functions of a stationary hospital.

Often, in conditions of natural or emergency disasters there is no possibility to transport injured people to a specialized institution, so the MES mobile hospital in such conditions may be the only opportunity to save a person.

Its main goal is to quickly and efficiently provide professional medical assistance to the injured in emergency situations.

Such a hospital can provide care to more than 150 patients per day. About one hundred people can be hospitalized at a time. The number of personnel in a mobile hospital is 60 people. It takes 5-6 hours to build.  Up to 20 operations per day can be performed simultaneously in the operating block. There is also an intensive care unit with eight beds.

During the handover ceremony, in his speech, the President Sadyr Zhaparov expressed confidence that these hospitals will save human lives in various unforeseen situations.

"Natural and man-made disasters are on the rise around the world and this is becoming a global issue of concern for people around the world. We are also seeing natural disasters that turn skyscrapers into ruins in the blink of an eye. We understand that people are vulnerable to natural disasters. Let us, remember what happened in the conditions of the coronavirus infection pandemic not only to one country, but to the whole world?  We can say that this big ordeal was a great alarm signal for strengthening the work of the state medicine and Emergency Situations Ministry of Kyrgyzstan. In general, this disease proved that all mankind can cope only together, jointly, preventing natural and man-made disasters and eliminating their consequences. In this regard, taking into account the emergencies troubling the peoples of the world, two years ago, in February 2021, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Emergency Situations were instructed to acquire a mobile field hospital," the President underlined.

President Zhaparov expressed gratitude to the Chinese side and said that one field hospital will be deployed in Bishkek and the second in Osh.

Sadyr Zhaparov expressed hope that the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Emergency Situations would use the opportunity to complete the organization of the Joint Emergency Medical Service and unite field medicine, as in developed countries.

"This equipment will make it possible to provide prompt, accessible and qualified medical assistance in emergency situations. In February this year, while transferring the firefighting equipment, I publicly stated that the rescue profession would turn into a profession that people would be proud of. Today I can repeat these words with great confidence. I firmly believe that the lifeguard profession will become a profession that people will be proud of, and young people will be enthusiastic about it in the future," President Sadyr Zhaparov concluded.
