FOLLOWING THE TRAINING, THE MINING RESCUE WORKERS RECEIVED CERTIFICATES FROM THE MINING OFFICE FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE TRAINING COURSES

Today, August 30, 2024, the 10th international training with the participation of divers and rescuers from the member countries of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) was completed.

Following the training, eight mine rescuers from seven countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia) received ICDO certificates for successfully completing the training courses at the Central Office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Colonel Urmatbek Shamyrkanov highly praised the professionalism of the training participants, emphasizing that this work is important for the entire world, since the comprehensive training of specialized specialists makes a significant contribution to improving emergency preparedness and the knowledge gained by rescuers at the experience exchange site, saving lives in emergency situations will help them in their own countries.

Let us recall that from August 19 to 30, as part of the International Training Seminar on Mountain Rescue Training, in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, foreign rescuers, under the guidance of rescue instructors from the State Center for Search and Rescue, underwent training on conducting search and rescue operations using rescue equipment.

The trainings took place in the Chunkurchak, Tatyr, Ala-Archa gorges, in the high-mountain lake Kol-Tor in the Kegeti gorge of the Chui region, as well as in the Semenovka and Grigoryevka gorges of the Issyk-Kul region.

During the training, the MOGO rescuers demonstrated a high level of training and readiness to respond to any emergency situations in mountainous areas.
