ISSUES️ OF️ IMPROVING️ THE️ DEVELOPMENT️ OF️ FORESTRY️ AND️ INCREASING️ GREEN️ SPACES️ IN️ KYRGYZSTAN️ WERE️ DISCUSSED

On️ the️ eve,️ January️ 31,️ a️ meeting️ was️ held️ with️ participation️ of️ the️ Minister️ of️ Emergency️ Situations️

Major️ General️ ️ Boobek️ ️ Azhikeyev️ and️ the️ leadership️ of️ the️ Forestry️ Service,️ where️ the️ main️ results️ of️

the️ work️ of️ the️ Forestry️ Service️ for️ 2023️ were️ summarized,️ issues️ of️ improving️ the️ development️ of️

forestry️ in️ general,️ as️ well️ as️ considered️ issues️ on️ increasing️ green️ areas️ of️ the️ country️ were️ discussed️

During️ the️ meeting,️ Deputy️ Director️ of️ the️ Forest️ Service️ Nadyrbek️ ️ Kozubaev️ spoke️ in️ more️ detail️

about️ the️ work️ of️ 41️ ️ forestry️ and️ 1️ forest️ protection️ station.

He️ also️ touched️ upon️ the️ issues️ of️ planting️ forest️ crops,️ seedlings️ in️ nurseries,️ sowing️ seeds,️ greening️

of️ settlements️ for️ the️ next️ years,️ provision️ of️ seedlings️ to️ increase️ green️ areas️ and️ productivity️ of️

planted️ forest️ crops.

Further,️ Minister️ of️ Emergency️ Situations️ Major️ General️ ️ Boobek️ ️ Azhikeyev️ addressed️ the️ foresters️ of️

the️ country.

In️ his️ speech,️ the️ head️ of️ the️ ministry️ noted️ that️ in️ order️ to️ revitalize️ green️ areas️ and️ develop️ the️

ecosphere️ in️ Kyrgyzstan,️ on️ the️ basis️ of️ the️ Decree️ of️ the️ President️ of️ the️ country,️ the️ Forestry️ Service️

was️ attached️ to️ the️ jurisdiction️ of️ the️ Ministry️ of️ Emergency️ Situations.

"We️ will️ take️ over️ the️ development️ of️ the️ Forestкн️ Service.️ Accordingly,️ performance️ requirements️ are

increasing.️ The️ preservation️ of️ glaciers,️ which️ is️ Kyrgyzstan's️ fresh️ water️ reserve,️ is️ also️ related️ to️

green️ areas,️ forests.️ Control️ over️ corrupt️ activities️ in️ this️ area️ will️ also️ be️ strict,"️ Boobek️ Azhikeyev️

Taking️ into️ account️ the️ climate,️ drought,️ soil️ composition️ of️ the️ republic,️ it️ was️ instructed️ to️ green️ the️
