MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS CONGRATULATED REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MASS MEDIA 

December 8-December is the Day of Radio and Television Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

In honor of this day, the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic congratulated journalists and media representatives on their professional holiday.

It should be noted that this year Kyrgyz television celebrates 65 years. The date was not chosen by chance. It was on this day in 1958 that the first television program on Kyrgyz television was aired. 

The leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic expresses gratitude to the journalists for their great contribution to raising the level of safety culture of the population of the republic, gratitude for timely and professional communication of information to the residents of the country. 

It should be noted that for many years journalists have been successfully cooperating with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, talking about the work of firefighters and rescuers, timely and objectively informing about measures to prevent and eliminate emergencies and accidents. 

Thanks to joint efforts hundreds of human lives have been saved. 

For close cooperation and for professional informing people in the field of safety and highlighting the work of rescuers, the medal of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic - "For Strengthening Civil-Military Cooperation" was awarded to:

- Meshkenov Altynbek Bedilovich, producer of the news TV channel "Ala-Too 24" NTRC;

-Tukeyev Baktiyar Zhekshenovich, producer of "Birinchi Radio" program of NTRC;

- Cholpon Amanovna Karmyshakova, producer of "News" program of GTRK ElTR;

- Otkurbek Kubanychbekovich Rakhmanov, General Director of REGION TV;

Akylima Amangeldievna Abdyldaeva, Editor-in-Chief of "Zamana" studio of NTRC.

Honorary Diploma was awarded to:

- Baktygul Nurmanbekovna Sokushova, director of "Super TV" TV channel;

- Saryeva Salyka Abdievna, NTRC; correspondent of the TV channel "Ala-Too 24" Talas.oblast;

- Sydykova Nurzada Sydykovna, correspondent of "REGION TV".

If we look into the history, the main television tower of Kyrgyzstan was built in 1958. Its height reaches 193 meters. 

On December 8 of the same year, the first television program on Kyrgyz television was aired. 

The professional holiday was established by the Government Decree of December 23, 1995.
