MES️ URGES️ DRIVERS️ TO️ REFRAIN️ FROM️ TRAVELING️ TO️ RUSSIA️ VIA️ KAZAKHSTAN

According️ to️ the️ information️ provided️ by️ the️ crisis️ management️ center️ of️ the️ Ministry️ of️ Emergency️

Situations️ of️ the️ Republic️ of️ Kazakhstan,️ on️ February️ 8️ in️ Aktobe️ region,️ on️ the️ highway️ Samara️ -️

Shymkent,️ traffic️ was️ hampered️ due️ to️ heavy️ snowfall️ and️ snowstorm.

Due️ to️ worsening️ weather️ conditions️ on️ the️ sections️ of️ the️ border️ of️ Kyzylorda️ and️ Turkestan️ cities,️

the️ roads️ are️ completely️ closed.

On️ February️ 9,️ the️ road️ from️ Kara-Butak️ village️ to️ Khromtau️ city️ was️ opened️ for️ cars.️ Heating️ stations️

were️ opened️ in️ secondary️ schools️ No️ 3️ and️ No️ 5️ of️ Khromtau️ city,️ and️ citizens️ who️ found️ on️ the️ road️

were️ provided️ with️ food️ and️ accommodated️ in️ these️ institutions.

Currently,️ employees️ of️ AO️ «️ Kazavtozhol»️ and️ rescuers️ of️ the️ Republic️ of️ Kazakhstan️ are️ working️ on️

the️ opening️ of️ the️ road️ in️ the️ field.

The️ Ministry️ of️ Emergency️ Situations️ of️ the️ Kyrgyz️ Republic️ strongly️ recommends,️ due️ to️ worsening️

weather️ conditions,️ to️ temporarily️ refrain️ from️ traveling️ to️ Russia️ through️ Kazakhstan️ and️ entering️ the

territory️ of️ Kazakhstan.
