FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 30 YEARS, THE MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS ACQUIRED 3 HELICOPTERS, 700 UNITS OF SPECIAL EQUIPMENT WERE UPDATED
For the first time in 30 years, in order to prevent and eliminate emergencies, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic acquired 3 helicopters, in addition, updated 700 units of special equipment.
Earlier, President of the Kyrgyz Republic SadyrZhaparov noted that global climate change is becoming a more serious threat to humanity every year.
In this regard, it is necessary to build up technical capacity to prevent and respond to emergencies.
It is worth noting that since gaining independence, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic has been honourably fulfilling its duties and protecting the life and health of Kyrgyz people who have fallen into various dangerous situations.
With the efforts of the President, to this end, over the past 3 years, work has been actively carried out to improve the material and technical capacity of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. During this period, a large amount of modern and multifunctional equipment has been received.
In addition, for the first time in the history of independence, the fleet of aviation equipment was replenished at the expense of the republican budget:
- Airbus H-125 and H-145 helicopters were purchased from Airbus, the world's largest aircraft manufacturer, to be used for disaster prevention and response;
- 20 buses, 20 heavy trucks and more than 10 off-road vehicles were purchased;
- 58 fire trucks were purchased with financial assistance from the World Bank.
And on a grant basis:
- 2 mobile hospitals from China with 100 firefighters and 38 vehicles;
- 40 fire engines, and one Mi-8 MTB model multi-purpose helicopter from Russia;
- Turkey provided 1 Delta rescue boat as support.
In addition, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic received rescue vehicles, ambulances, trucks and cars from South Korea, the UN World Food Program and other organizations.
