MEETING WITH RESIDENTS OF NOOKAT DISTRICT

Today, August 7, as part of a working visit to the Osh region, Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev, together with the Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Osh region Erlan Musaev, as well as other representatives, held a meeting with residents of the Nookat district.

During the meeting, local residents raised pressing issues in their territories, including proposals to divert flood waters and build a dam in the Nookat district. They also expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the enormous work done to clean up flooded areas after the mudflow.

Following the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev instructed representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to develop a project for the capital construction of mudflow channels in the Nookat district.
