MINISTER VISITS FORESTRY ENTERPRISES IN OSH REGION

Today, September 25, the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Major General Boobek Azhikeev, held a visiting meeting to improve the work of forest industry enterprises in the Osh region in order to develop forest ecosystems.

As part of his working trip, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations visited timber industry enterprises in the Osh region.

The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations familiarized himself with the current state of forestry enterprises, checked the progress of forestry work and gave instructions to the relevant managers to increase the number of trees and intensify greening.

Boobek Azhikeev also made specific proposals for preserving forest areas affected by river erosion and strengthening restoration work.

As a result, the heads of the Ministry’s structural divisions were given relevant instructions to restore the forest ecosystem, preserve biodiversity and protect soils from erosion.

On the Day of Forest Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry paid employees a one-time bonus.
