THE MEETING WAS HELD IN A CLOSE CIRCLE

It should be noted that the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Kyamaleddin Heydarov, is also taking part in the 56th session of the Council of the International Civil Defense Organization, which is currently taking place in Kyrgyzstan.

During the regular meeting of the IOCO Council, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Major General Boobek Azhikeev met with his counterpart from Azerbaijan, Colonel General Kyamaleddin Heydarov. 

Constructive and fruitful negotiations were held.

The parties discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of prevention and elimination of natural and man-made emergencies.

Recall that in July this year, in the city of Gabala (Azerbaijan), Kyrgyz young rescuers took part in the International Competition "Young Rescuer" and won second place. Boys and girls from 13 to 17 years of age from 6 countries took part in the competition. 

The guys showed their skills in such relay races as "obstacle course", "fire relay" and "search and rescue". 

Passing the elements of distances, young rescuers from Kyrgyzstan demonstrated teamwork skills and a high level of sports training.
