MINISTER BOOBEK AZHIKEEV HELD A TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH ALEXANDER KURENKOV 

   By order of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov humanitarian aid will be provided to the affected Palestinian population of the Gaza Strip - this was announced today by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Major General Boobek  Azhikeev during a telephone conversation with his counterpart, Minister of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Alexander Kurenkov.

During the telephone conversation they discussed the current situation in the Palestinian state, the progress of evacuation of citizens, as well as talk about joint organization of work to improve and provide humanitarian assistance to the population of the Gaza Strip.

The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Boobek Azhikeev expressed his gratitude to the Russian rescuers for their assistance in the successful evacuation of two Kyrgyz citizens from the Gaza Strip.

Also, during the talks a number of topical areas were discussed in the field of strengthening bilateral cooperation and its successful development.
