MINISTER BOOBEK AZHIKEYEV IN A TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH THE PALESTINIAN MINISTER DISCUSSED DELIVERIES OF HUMANITARIAN AID TO THE POPULATION OF THE GAS SECTOR 

In the coming days, by order of the President Sadyr Japarov, 5 tons of humanitarian aid will be delivered to Palestine. 

It should be noted that today the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Major General Boobek Azhikeev contacted by phone with the head of the Civil Defense Directorate of Palestine, Major General Alabed Ibrahim Abdul Salam Khalil.

During the conversation, the KR Emergency Minister emphasized that the Kyrgyz people are deeply saddened by the situation in the Middle East, the suffering of civilians and the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. 

"We hope that the parties will soon stop hostilities and start negotiations," Boobek Azhikeyev added. 

Further, in the chord of the phone conversation discussed the urgent need to provide humanitarian aid to the affected population in the Gaza Strip.

In turn, the Palestinian counterpart expressed gratitude and said that there is a shortage of medicines, water and foodstuffs in the refugee camp. 

During the telephone conversation, Minister B. Azhikeyev said that what was said will be taken into account in the collection of humanitarian aid and wished that the Gaza Strip will find stability, peace and prosperity as soon as possible.
