EMERGENCY SERVICES OF KYRGYZSTAN AND BAHRAIN ARE READY TO EXPAND AREAS OF INTERACTION AND STRENGTHEN COOPERATION 

Today the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Major General Boobek Azhikeev also held a meeting with the Director General of Civil Defense of Bahrain, Ali Mohamed Jasim Yusuf Alkabaysi.

As noted by the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Boobek Azhikeev, within the framework of participation in the 56th session of the Executive Council of the ICDO, there was an opportunity to discuss opportunities to establish cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Bahrain in the field of disaster prevention and response, given the great potential and experience of the Directorate of Civil Defense of Bahrain.

According to him, today it is necessary to consider signing a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between our agencies, as the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the two countries will serve as a legal basis for cooperation.

In addition, to exchange experience, information and technology, to train specialists in the field of civil protection in educational institutions of the two countries, to conduct joint exercises and training, to implement joint projects in the field of protection of population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies - added the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Boobek Azhikeev.

In turn, Ali Mohamed Jasim Yusuf Alkabaysi thanked the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Boobek Azhikeyev for the warm welcome, noting that the Civil Defense of Bahrain and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan will actively expand the areas of interaction, as well as strengthen cooperation.

In conclusion, he invited the Kyrgyz side to visit Bahrain at any convenient time for them to familiarize themselves with the disaster management system and discuss priority issues of cooperation of mutual interest.

Further, the two sides expressed hope for  further cooperation that meets the interests of the two states.
