ANOTHER BATCH OF HUMANITARIAN AID DELIVERED TO AFGHANISTAN
120 Tons of Humanitarian Aid Delivered to Afghanistan from Kyrgyzstan
Let us recall that on September 25, a convoy with humanitarian aid left Kyrgyzstan for Afghanistan. On September 28, the humanitarian cargo was delivered to a local warehouse.
This humanitarian aid was organized under the leadership of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Boobek Azhikeev, on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.
It should be noted that in February 2024, during the meeting of the sixth Regional Dialogue of Secretaries of Security Councils/National Security Advisers on Afghanistan and at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov called on the international community to unite and support the people of Afghanistan.
Kyrgyzstan has previously provided humanitarian aid to residents of Afghanistan affected by the natural disaster.
