CSTO EXERCISES "INTERACTION-2024", "SEARCH-2024" AND "ECHELON-2024" HAVE BEEN LAUNCHED

Today, September 7, the opening ceremony of the command and staff exercise with the CSTO Collective Rapid Response Forces "Interaction-2024", special exercises "Search-2024" and "Echelon-2024" took place at the Edelweiss training ground.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Urmatbek Shamyrkanov, Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Taalatbek Masadykov, Chief of the Joint Staff of the CSTO, Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov, as well as the mayor of Balykchy and the military contingent of Kyrgyzstan.

The main objective of the command and staff exercise is to ensure the readiness of the command bodies, forces and means of the collective security system to perform their intended tasks.

It should be noted that on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, under the leadership of the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, Colonel Artur Temirov, a command and staff exercise with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces "Interaction-2024", a special exercise with reconnaissance forces and means "Search-2024", a special exercise with logistics forces and means "Echelon-2024" are being conducted.

The exercises involve contingents of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan.
