KYRGYZ-KAZAKH FRIENDSHIP FOR CENTURIES!

KYRGYZ RESCUERS WHO LENT A HELPING HAND IN A DIFFICULT DAY WERE AWARDED 

On December 16, the leadership of the Zhambyl region (Kazakhstan) and the head of the regional department of emergency situations thanked Kyrgyz rescuers for their assistance to people stuck in the snow of Kazakhstan during the emergency situation and as a sign of strengthening friendship between the two brotherly peoples, presented valuable awards.

Currently, 39 Kyrgyz rescuers are successfully returning home. With their help, 16 citizens who were stuck on the road due to heavy snow drifts were brought to Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, rescuers from Kyrgyzstan, at the Kordai Pass, rescued 2 heavy trucks and 3 cars from the snow debris.

Let us remind you that on December 14, due to snow drifts in Kordoi district of Zhambyl region in the south of Kazakhstan, the road was blocked on the Almaty-Tashkent highway, in connection with which, a state of emergency was declared.
