We note that on 19 September, at that time, a helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic was flying over the pass on a special project. A man at the top of the "Kalmak-Ashuu" pass was seen by the captain of the helicopter flying over the pass. They passed this information to the rescue service with the number "112".
Sometime later, at 23:15, 3 rescuers of the fire and rescue station No. 42 of the Kochkor district of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Naryn region arrived at the place. However, there was no driver at the place.
Due to the onset of darkness, the search was suspended. And only the next morning, 20 September, rescuers found the driver of the truck in the Son-Kol Rangelands, where local shepherds put him up in a guest house.
According to preliminary data, the driver from Belarus was carrying a cargo on order and was travelling on a special route (provided by the Belarusian company "Inter Trans Auto") to the city Jalal-Abad through Kochkor and Jumgal districts of Naryn region.
According to the driver of the MAN truck, Dmitry Mikhadyuk, on 19 September, he was driving towards Chaek village towards Son-Kol and got lost. Therefore, his truck got stuck on the "Kalmak-Ashuu" pass and four wheels of the truck burst.
The situation was complicated by the fact that temperature was low and there was no cellular service along this stretch of road.
For almost 24 hours the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic helped Dmitry Mikhadyuk, the driver of the truck "MAN", who was stuck on the pass, to fix the truck. He continued his journey on 21 September.
The driver of the truck "MAN" Dmitry Mikhadyuk sincerely thanked the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic for the assistance rendered to him, after which he continued his journey to the city of Jalal-Abad through Jumgal district of Naryn region.
