Dear forestry workers and labor veterans!

I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday “Forest Workers Day”!

At present, as everyone knows, the global community is very acutely faced with the issue of preserving forest ecosystems, which are a key component of the planet's biodiversity in the context of global climate change, and processes are underway to reassess their ecological significance.

The forest has ceased to be considered a resource and commodity for the industrial development of humanity, and its ecosystem services are receiving increasing attention and recognition from the global community.

In our country, thanks to your work in the industry, more than 20.0 tons of forest seeds are collected annually, more than 15.0 million seedlings and saplings are grown in nurseries, and more than 1.5 thousand hectares of forest are planted.

The hard work, patience, and love for their profession of forestry workers deserve universal respect and the highest praise. I am confident that your conscientious attitude to work and dedication to the profession will make a great contribution to the development of the industry, and I believe that you will continue to serve fruitfully.

Today I express my deep gratitude and respect to the veterans of the industry, the honorary elders who, working tirelessly, dedicated their lives to forestry and set an example for the younger generation.
