FOR DISTINCTION IN THE EXERCISE "EURASIA - ANTITERROR - 2023" THE CIS ATC PRESENTED MEDALS TO THE EMPLOYEES OF THE MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC
For active participation in the preparation and conduct of the joint anti-terrorist exercise of the competent authorities of the CIS member states "Eurasia - Antiterror - 2023", the Anti-Terrorist Center (ATC) of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic handed a commemorative medal ATC CIS "Eurasia - Antiterror - 2023", as well as the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic medals "For Distinction in the Exercise".
As noted by the CIS ATC, the successful holding of the significant international event was facilitated by the quality organization of its preparation by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The exercise showed high coherence to the implementation of tasks to eliminate and minimize the consequences of acts of terrorism at critical facilities and places of mass stay of people.
Also, for their professionalism and great contribution, which allowed to carry out activities at a high organizational level, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic were awarded the jubilee medal "100 years of national security agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic" and the badge "For Cooperation".
Recall that in September this year, in Bishkek, the State Committee for National Security with the support of the Anti-Terrorist Center of the CIS member states and the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization held an anti-terrorist exercise of the competent authorities of the CIS member states and SCO member states "Eurasia-Antiterror - 2023". It was attended by representatives of 11 States: Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, India, Iran, China, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
As part of the exercise, units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic carried out measures to eliminate and minimize the consequences of a terrorist act. The maneuvers showed the effective actions of the forces and means of the competent authorities of Kyrgyzstan and the coherence of the units of the ministries and departments involved in resolving the crisis situation. The anti-terrorist operation involved the forces and means of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, namely 8 special vehicles, one helicopter and about 50 rescuers.
Summarizing the results of the exercise, the heads of delegations noted that the exercise was an important step aimed at integrating efforts and strengthening the anti-terrorist potential of the CIS and SCO states.
It should be noted that in October this year Kyrgyzstan hosted the CSTO exercise "Unbreakable Brotherhood-2023". The CSTO military exercises were also attended by servicemen of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic. The exercise took place at the Balykchi training ground in Issyk-Kul region.
Kyrgyz Emergencies Ministry rescuers set up tents for the injured during the exercise. They worked on evacuation of citizens from the combat zone, where the special operation took place, neutralization of chemical and radiation waste, accommodation of the wounded and provision of medical assistance.
In conclusion, for their active participation in the CSTO exercises, EMERCOM employees were awarded with the medal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Kyrgyz police 95 years old ", as well as certificates of honor.
Recall that in the period from 9 to 13 October in Kyrgyzstan on the basis of the training center "Edelweiss" military unit № 20636 of the Ministry of Defense held a joint exercise with peacekeeping forces of CSTO member states "Unbreakable Brotherhood - 2023" with the participation of military contingents of peacekeeping forces of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. Operational groups of the CSTO Joint Staff and Secretariat also took part in these joint exercises.
