MINISTER PARTICIPATED IN THE XV MEETING OF THE CSTO EMERGENCY COORDINATION COUNCIL
Today, September 5, 2024, in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, the XVth meeting of the Coordinating Council for Emergencies of the Member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CCES CSTO) was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Chingis Arinov.
The meeting was attended by the heads of authorized bodies in the field of prevention and elimination of emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the CSTO Secretariat.
A delegation headed by the Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Boobek Azhikeev, took part from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the Agenda, the meeting participants heard and approved information on the implementation of the Action Plan for interaction of authorized bodies of the CSTO member states in the field of prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations for 2024, and also approved the corresponding Plan for 2025.
The parties approved the candidacy of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, Boobek Azhikeev, as the next chairman of the Coordinating Council for Emergency Situations of the CSTO member states.
Following the meeting, a Protocol was signed.
Also, within the framework of the meeting of the CSTO CSES, the heads of the delegation took part in the demonstration part of the special exercise with units of the bodies authorized in the field of prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations of the CSTO member states "Rock - 2024", in which the team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic also took part.
