The️ Department️ of️ Monitoring,️ Forecasting️ of️ Emergency️ Situations️ under️ the️ Ministry️ of️ Emergency️

Situations️ of️ the️ Kyrgyz️ Republic️ with️ the️ support️ of️ the️ WFP️ Country️ Office️ in️ the️ Kyrgyz️ Republic️ is️

hosting️ a️ two-day️ training️ on️ the️ implementation️ of️ a️ digital️ information️ system️ for️ monitoring️ climate️

risks️ using️ geospatial️ data️ on️ hazards️ in️ the️ national️ mechanism️ of️ hazard️ monitoring.

During️ two️ days,️ from️ February️ 8️ to️ 9,️ 2024,️ specialists️ from️ the️ Department️ of️ Monitoring,️

Forecasting️ of️ Emergency️ Situations️ under️ the️ Ministry️ of️ Emergency️ Situations,️ the️ Crisis️ Management

Center️ and️ the️ Hydrometeorological️ Service️ under️ the️ Ministry️ of️ Emergency️ Situations️ will️ be️ able️ to️

gain️ knowledge️ and️ skills️ in️ the️ use️ of️ global️ model️ data️ and️ their️ use️ for️ monitoring️ and️ forecasting️

the️ activation️ of️ dangerous️ natural️ processes.

It️ should️ be️ noted️ that️ in️ the️ course️ of️ this️ training️ the️ specialists️ will️ gain️ knowledge️ and️ skills️ on️ the️

possibility️ of️ using️ Earth️ remote️ sensing️ data️ for️ monitoring️ the️ situation️ on️ dangerous️ climate️ risks.
