XI INTERNATIONAL DIVING TRAINING FOR REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MOSCOW DEPARTMENT STARTED IN CHOLPON-ATA
The day before, on July 5, on Lake Issyk-Kul, in Cholpon-Ata, in the Center for the training of divers and the conduct of underwater technical works (Diving Service), the official opening of the next XI international training in diving training under the auspices of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) took place.
Participants from 11 ICDO member countries arrived to participate in the training: Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mali, Palestine, Russia, Serbia, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia.
The First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Azamat Mambetov delivered a welcoming speech. He congratulated the divers of the ICDO member countries on the official opening of the XI International Diving Training, noting the importance and significance of the diving trainings conducted, which contribute to the development of international cooperation in the field of civil defense, prevention and elimination of emergency situations. According to Azamat Mambetov, rescuers will practice theoretical and practical exercises at this training.
The main objective of diving training is to teach, exchange experience in the effective use of diving equipment, while improving one’s professional level, as well as to establish permanent contacts in the field of diving between representatives of ICDO member states.
The 12-day training program will include classes on occupational safety and health when performing diving operations, the effective use of diving equipment and gear, as well as practical dives to a depth of 30 meters.
