FOREIGN RESCUERS UNDERGO SEARCH AND RESCUE TRAINING IN THE MOUNTAINS OF KYRGYZSTAN
Mountain rescuers from 7 countries are exchanging experience in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan. They are representatives of rescue services of the member states of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO): Russia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Currently, foreign rescuers are undergoing training in conducting search and rescue operations using rescue equipment in the Semenovka and Grigoryevka gorges of the Issyk-Kul region.
It should be noted that within the framework of the International Mine Rescue Training Seminar, over the course of ten days, foreign mine rescuers, under the guidance of rescue instructors from the State Center for Mountain Rescue, underwent training in the Chunkurchak, Tatyr, Ala-Archa gorges and in the high-mountain Kol-Tor Lake in the Kegeti gorge of the Chui region.
Let us recall that from August 19 to 31, 2024, the State Rescuer Training Center (SRTC) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic is hosting an International Meeting and Seminar on Mountain Rescue Training with representatives of rescue services of the member states of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO).
On August 20, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Colonel Urmatbek Shamyrkanov received foreign mine rescuers and launched search and rescue operations using rescue equipment in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan.
