FIRE IN THE VEFA SHOPPING CENTER, ABOUT 150 PEOPLE EVACUATED

According to preliminary information, a fire broke out in the Oz Huzur Sukuret cafe on the 3rd floor of the VEFA Center shopping center located on Baytik Baatyr Street in the Pervomaisky district of Bishkek.

At 10:17, 2 fire crews of Fire and Rescue Unit No. 5 of the Oktyabrsky District of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bishkek, 1 fire ladder and a headquarters were called in to extinguish the fire.

The fire in the cafe started in the ventilation system (exhaust). The fire was localized at 10:46 and completely extinguished at 10:52.

The total area of ​​the fire was about 15 square meters.

About 150 people were evacuated from the shopping center. There were no casualties.
